The giveaway prize has multiple parts, but they all go together.
-AGTriviaMaster Hi everyone! It's me, Priya! I'm sure you all know this, but I own the American Girl Playground blog. Today I'm going to be posting the Kit Has Lice video that AGTriviaMaster and I made together (since she doesn't have the video on her computer). Ok, here it is: We hope you like it! Since the photo-sharing website has a limit of 10 minutes per video, a couple minutes got cut off at the end, sorry!
I'll be back another time with more fun posts! Priya can edit this site, too! She'll be doing guest posts once in a while.
-AGTriviaMaster Along my path to 10 followers (I only need 6 more!), I'll be dropping some hints. Here's the first hint: I'll be dropping more hints as I get new followers.
-AGTriviaMaster Here's the URL to Kit Has Lice: http://www.americangirlplayground.com/2012/03/10/awesome-video-made-with-a-friend/ -AGTriviaMaster I have some exciting news! I have decided that when I reach 10 followers, I will have a giveaway contest!
-AGTriviaMaster I was just checking out Etsy when I found something I thought some people might like.http://www.etsy.com/shop/alohagirldollclothes?page=1&order=price_desc Above is a link that will take you to a "store" that has some really cool doll clothes. I've checked out some of the Felicity items, and they look just like the ones American Girl used to make!
-AGTriviaMaster My entry is ten-year-old Hana Yamazaki from the year 1942, during World War 2. She lives in a Japanese War Relocation Camp. I know that her time is really close to Molly, but everything was different back then for the Japanese. After the Japanese Pearl Harbor attack, all of the Japanese in America were rounded up and put in relocation camps, including Hana. When Hana arrives at the camp, her life is really hard at the Heart Mountain War Relocation Center. The center was surrounded by barbwire and she lives in a house made of tar without plumbing or a kitchen. Hana’s family has also been separated---she lives with he father and sister while her mother and three brothers are at another camp. Hana has big dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up, but she is afraid that no one will want to hire her just because she’s Japanese. The book(s) follow Hana’s story as she survives police raids, packs to leave, lives in the harsh conditions of camp, and is released with nothing after nearly three years. Some more pictures of Hana: To Priya: I have permission! -AGTriviaMaster I recently visited Priya from American Girl Playground. We made a movie called 'Kit Had Lice' starring her dolls Kit, Penelope, Rebecca, Lanie, and Emily. I can't post the video, mainly because it's on her computer, but here is the link to her site:
American Girl Playground The video won't be posted for a while, though. Priya had to edit it. -AGTriviaMaster |
